When I first started on my Thyroid healing journey I read a lot about Wild Blueberries and the benefits to heal my thyroid disease and hashimoto's. When I first started dealing with hypothyroidism I was having symptoms of fatigue, mood swings, gaining weight, unable to gain muscle, bone loss, unable to get pregnant, and even brain fog. So many frustrating symptoms I was dealing with, so while I still see an endocrinologist often, I wanted to maximize how I could assist my body in healing. I encourage my clients do the same. Always get regular check-up visits and if you have any symptoms, tell your doctor. so you can seek out answers and assist your body in what it needs. Sometimes it's just figuring out what specific vitamins you need instead of just taking a multi. My family and I eat really healthy nutritious foods but I was still lacking in so many vitamins, I was taking a multi, but it wasn't what I needed for my specific issues. So once I was able to zone in, my symptoms started so subside and I saw light at the end of the tunnel.
Wild blueberries are different than the regular blueberries, I use the Wyman's Frozen brand, you can actually grab these at your local grocery store in the frozen fruit aisle or even at Walmart and Target. They provide energy and a metabolic boost. People with Thyroid diseases usually have higher rates of free radicals in their bodies and need to detox them out and Wild Blueberries do just that! These blueberries are delicious and go great in a Protein Smoothie. Wild Blueberries have been named the King of high antioxidant fruit. These are just a few of the benefits;
